Refund and Cancellation Policy
Last updated: July 2026This Policy explains how cancellation, the EU right of withdrawal, and refunds work for paid Billingz® subscriptions. It applies together with the Billingz Subscription Terms and forms part of them.
1. Provider
Billingz EOOD
Registered office: Vranya Str. 32, fl. 4, ap. 11, Sofia 1233, Bulgaria
Company registration number (EIK): 208766693
VAT number: BG208766693
Email: support@billingz.com
2. Cancelling your subscription
- You can cancel at any time, in the Service or through the Stripe customer portal.
- Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You keep full paid access until that date.
- No partial refunds are issued for the unused remainder of a billing period after the withdrawal window described below has passed, except where required by law or in the cases listed in Section 5.
- After cancellation takes effect, your account moves to the Free plan. Your data is retained in accordance with the Privacy Policy and you can resubscribe at any time.
3. EU right of withdrawal (14 days)
If you are a consumer in the European Union, you have a statutory right to withdraw from a distance contract within 14 days of purchase without giving a reason.
Billingz is a digital service that begins immediately upon purchase. At checkout you are asked to expressly consent to the service starting immediately and to acknowledge that, by doing so, you lose the right of withdrawal once performance has begun, in accordance with Directive 2011/83/EU and Bulgarian consumer law.
- If you give this consent, your paid plan is activated immediately and the 14-day withdrawal right no longer applies to that purchase.
- If you do not give this consent, activation of the paid plan is deferred until the 14-day period has expired, or you may contact us to arrange activation with withdrawal rights preserved on a pro-rata basis where the law requires.
Business customers (persons acting in the course of their trade or profession) do not hold the consumer withdrawal right.
4. How to request a refund or exercise withdrawal
- Email support@billingz.com from the address associated with your account.
- State your account email, the charge concerned, and the reason (a reason is not required for statutory withdrawal, where applicable).
- We respond within 5 business days.
- Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method through Stripe, normally within 5 to 10 business days depending on your bank.
5. Refunds we always provide
- Duplicate charges and billing errors are refunded in full.
- Charges made after a properly completed cancellation are refunded in full.
- Where the Service was materially unavailable for an extended period due to our fault, we may provide a pro-rata refund or credit at our discretion, without prejudice to your statutory rights.
6. Effect of a refund
When a refund of the current billing period is issued, the associated paid plan is removed and the account moves to the Free plan. Data is retained in accordance with the Privacy Policy. Where a refund is partial, the plan level and period are adjusted accordingly.
7. Annual plans
Annual subscriptions follow the same rules: 14-day withdrawal for consumers (subject to the immediate performance consent in Section 3), cancellation effective at the end of the annual period, and no partial refunds for unused months outside the cases in Section 5, except where required by law.
8. Promotional and free access
Free plans, coupon-based free months, and other promotional access carry no payment and therefore no refund. If a discounted subscription is refunded, the refund equals the amount actually paid.
9. Chargebacks
If you believe a charge is wrong, please contact us first; most issues are resolved faster than a bank dispute. We reserve the right to suspend accounts with fraudulent chargebacks.
10. Out-of-court dispute resolution
EU consumers may use the European Commission Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr. Bulgarian consumers may also contact the Commission for Consumer Protection (KZP).
