This Cookie Policy explains what cookies and similar tracking technologies are used on billingz.com and in the Billingz application, what they do, and how you can control them.

1. What are cookies

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work, to remember your preferences, and to provide information about how visitors use a site.

“Similar tracking technologies” includes things like local storage, pixels, and tags that perform comparable functions. References to “cookies” in this Policy include these technologies as well.

2. Categories of cookies

Cookies are commonly grouped into the following categories:

Strictly necessary cookies, required for the website to function. Cannot be disabled without breaking the site.
Functional cookies, remember choices you make (e.g., language, theme).
Analytics cookies, show us how visitors use the site, in aggregate.
Marketing cookies, track behavior across sites for advertising purposes.

3. Cookies we currently use

Billingz® does not set any cookies on this website. There is no analytics, no advertising, and no third-party script of any kind. The site keeps one value in your browser, for the length of your visit only.

That value carries no identifier and tells us nothing about you. Because nothing on the site needs your consent, there is no cookie banner.

In the Billingz application

The application sets only what it needs to work, or what you asked it to remember. None of it is analytics or advertising, and none of it is shared with anyone.

If we later add analytics or functional cookies, they will be listed here before they are switched on.

4. Cookies we may use in the future

As Billingz grows, we may introduce additional cookies for analytics or functionality. Common examples we may add include:

Privacy-friendly analytics, to understand which pages and features are useful (we will prioritize tools that anonymize IPs and do not share data with advertising networks)
Customer support tools, to power chat or in-app support when we launch the product

When we add any cookie that is not strictly necessary, we will update this Policy and ask for your consent before the cookie is set.

5. How to manage cookies

All major browsers let you view, delete, and block cookies. Note that blocking strictly necessary cookies may break parts of the site.

6. Do Not Track signals

Some browsers offer a “Do Not Track” (DNT) signal. There is currently no industry standard for how websites should respond to DNT signals. Because we do not track users for advertising purposes anyway, our site behavior does not depend on DNT.

7. Changes to this Policy

We will update this Cookie Policy whenever we add, remove, or change cookies on the site. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
