Cookie Policy
Last updated: April 2026
This Cookie Policy explains what cookies and similar tracking technologies are used on billingz.com, what they do, and how you can control them.
1. What are cookies
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work, to remember your preferences, and to provide information about how visitors use a site.
"Similar tracking technologies" includes things like local storage, pixels, and tags that perform comparable functions. References to "cookies" in this Policy include these technologies as well.
2. Categories of cookies
Cookies are commonly grouped into the following categories:
- Strictly necessary cookies, required for the website to function. Cannot be disabled without breaking the site.
- Functional cookies, remember choices you make (e.g., language, theme).
- Analytics cookies, help us understand how visitors use the site, in aggregate.
- Marketing cookies, track behavior across sites for advertising purposes.
3. Cookies we currently use
Billingz® currently uses only strictly necessary cookies. We do not use marketing or advertising cookies. We do not run third-party advertising networks on this site.
| Cookie / Technology | Provider | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| Cloudflare security cookies (e.g., __cf_bm) | Cloudflare | Distinguishes humans from bots; protects against abuse and helps deliver pages faster | Session / up to 30 days |
No cookie banner is currently shown because Billingz does not currently set any cookies that require consent under GDPR. Strictly necessary cookies (security, basic site operation) do not require consent. We will introduce a cookie banner the moment we add any analytics, functional, or marketing cookies.
4. Cookies we may use in the future
As Billingz grows, we may introduce additional cookies for analytics or functionality. Common examples we may add include:
- Privacy-friendly analytics, to understand which pages and features are useful (we will prioritize tools that anonymize IPs and do not share data with advertising networks)
- Customer support tools, to power chat or in-app help when we launch the product
- Authentication cookies, to keep you logged into the Billingz product once accounts exist
When we add any cookie that is not strictly necessary, we will update this Policy and request your consent through our cookie banner before the cookie is set.
5. How to manage cookies
You can manage cookies in two ways:
5.1 Through our cookie banner (when applicable)
A cookie banner is not currently shown because Billingz does not set any cookies that require consent. Once we add analytics or functional cookies, the banner will give you the option to accept or reject non-essential cookies, and you will be able to change your choice at any time by clicking the cookie settings link in the website footer.
5.2 Through your browser settings
All major browsers let you view, delete, and block cookies. Note that blocking strictly necessary cookies may break parts of the site.
6. Do Not Track signals
Some browsers offer a "Do Not Track" (DNT) signal. There is currently no industry standard for how websites should respond to DNT signals. Because we do not track users for advertising purposes anyway, our site behavior does not depend on DNT.
7. Changes to this Policy
We will update this Cookie Policy whenever we add, remove, or change cookies on the site. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
