Referral Program Terms

These Referral Program Terms govern the Billingz referral program (the “Program”). They form part of, and should be read together with, the Billingz Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. The Program is operated by Billingz EOOD (Билингз ЕООД), EIK 208766693, VAT BG208766693, registered at Vranya Str. 32, fl. 4, ap. 11, Sofia 1233, Bulgaria (“Billingz”, “we”, “us”).

By using Billingz and sending invoices through the Service, you participate in the Program on these Terms. If you do not want to participate, you can disable the referral footer on your invoices as described below.

The Program is not based on invite links or cash bounties. Instead, invoices you send through Billingz carry a subtle footer indicating the invoice was created with Billingz. When the people who receive your invoices interact with that footer, those interactions may be recorded as referral activity attributed to your account.

Referral activity is measured in stages, reflecting how far a recipient has engaged:

• Viewed, the recipient saw the Billingz footer or referral page.
• Clicked, the recipient followed the footer to learn more.
• Explored, the recipient looked further into Billingz.
• Verified (signed up), the recipient created their own Billingz account. Only this stage counts as a “verified referral” for rewards and discounts.

When you send an invoice, the footer may carry a referral signal. If a recipient interacts with it, we record limited information about that interaction (such as the interaction stage and time) and attribute it to your account for the purposes of the Program. You can turn the referral footer off for your invoices in your account settings; if you do, your sent invoices will not carry the signal and those interactions will not be recorded.

How we handle personal data in connection with the Program, including any data about invoice recipients, is described in our Privacy Policy. Recipients are informed when they reach a Billingz referral or landing page.

Verified referrals unlock product value inside Billingz. Rewards are not cash, have no monetary value, cannot be exchanged for money, and cannot be transferred. Current reward milestones are:

• 1 verified referral, 5 extra invoices for the current month.
• 3 verified referrals, a 7-day Control trial.
• 5 verified referrals, a 14-day SafeGuard preview.

Reward milestones, thresholds, and values may change. We will apply the milestones in effect at the time a reward is unlocked.

The Program rewards product value only. It is not a money-earning scheme, not a multi-level or network-marketing program, and pays no commissions. Rewards cannot be redeemed for cash and have no value outside the Service.

Verified referrals may also reduce the price of your paid plan. Each verified referral reduces your applicable plan price by a set amount, up to a maximum reduction. The reduction is currently €2 per verified referral, capped at 35% of the plan’s standard price. The minimum payable for any paid plan is never less than €1.

The discount is applied to your plan automatically based on your verified referrals. If a referral is later found to be invalid (see Section 7), the corresponding discount may be removed and your price adjusted at the next billing cycle. We may change the discount amount and cap, with effect from your next renewal.

Referrals must come from genuine business activity. You agree not to create fake accounts, send invoices solely to generate referrals, self-refer, or otherwise manipulate the Program. We may withhold, reverse, or cancel rewards and discounts, and may suspend Program participation, where we reasonably believe activity is fraudulent, artificial, or in breach of these Terms or the Terms of Service.

We may change, pause, or end the Program, or any reward or discount, at any time. Where a change materially reduces benefits you have already earned, we will give reasonable notice. Ending the Program does not remove product value already unlocked, except where required to address abuse or by law.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Bulgaria and should be read together with the Billingz Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. If there is a conflict specifically about the Program, these Terms apply to the Program. Your statutory rights as a consumer are not affected.
