42 countries
Choose your country once, when you set up your business. From then on every invoice, offer and credit note follows its rules: the language, the currency and its rounding, the tax line, the numbering, the company fields, the bank details. Where the state issues the invoice, Billingz keeps your copy and your records.

The 42
Type a name or pick a group. Each card reads the same five lines, taken from the app itself.
EU · 27
The 27 member states. EU VAT rules first: domestic VAT, reverse charge between businesses across borders, and your own VAT for private clients in other EU countries.
UK and EFTA · 4
Outside the EU VAT area, each with its own VAT rules and its own invoice layout.
Western Balkans · 6
Six countries with their own currencies, numbering rules and, in three of them, a state system that issues the legal invoice.
Eastern Europe · 2
Two countries outside the EU with their own VAT systems and document formats.
Overseas · 3
Three countries where invoices carry sales tax or GST rather than VAT, in their own formats.
What adapts
You never set any of this. The country does.
The document in your country's language. A client abroad gets it in their language or in English: chosen once, on the client.
Amounts in your currency, written the way the country writes them. Where the currency settles in whole units, the amount payable does too.
VAT or GST with the rate and the wording the country expects; in the United States, sales tax at the rate you set. Between businesses across EU borders, the reverse charge.
One unbroken sequence each for invoices, pro formas, credit notes and offers. An issued invoice never changes afterwards: a credit note corrects it.
The identifiers the country asks for on an invoice, yours and your client's, with the words the country prints before them.
Where a state system issues the legal invoice, you issue it there and Billingz keeps your copy, the number and the money side.
Your account in the format your country uses, IBAN or the local one, checked as you type it, and a scan-to-pay QR code on SEPA invoices.
In seven countries Billingz is sold to registered businesses only, for VAT reasons. Everywhere else, to businesses and sole professionals.
Businesses only in Albania, Kosovo, Moldova, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Serbia, United Kingdom, because of local VAT rules. Albania, Kosovo, Montenegro and Serbia: VAT-registered businesses only. North Macedonia, Moldova and the United Kingdom: businesses with a tax number. No private individuals in any of these seven. The Subscription Terms say the same.
Tax rates and formats are the ones set in the app’s country packs, checked against official sources between August and October 2026 and refreshed as rules change. Whether a given invoice meets the law depends on the transaction: see the Invoicing and Compliance Disclaimer.
All prices are in euro, net of VAT, charged in your local currency at checkout. VAT is added according to your country and your VAT status. See Pricing.
